After many months of virtual meetings, several of our SATURN researchers were able to get together in August for an in-person meeting at last!
The teams of TiHo-Hannover's Institute for Terrestrial and Aquatic Wildlife Research (ITAW) and Aarhus University's Bioacoustics Lab met recently for a workshop at Aarhus University to develop strategies to process underwater noise dosimeter data and open source standardised processing software tools. Noise dosimeters measure and record sound exposure and can be added to tags that are attached to aquatic animals for research purposes.
